Safety box

Alone, for tranquility sake
No crystal around me to break
Sink into my dark box
Lined with fluffy blocks
Peaceful emptiness keeps me safe
Loose the ropes avoiding chafe
Let me stay, I say
Let me sleep, I pray
But when it gets really warm
The lull turns into storm
Such good comfort has a top
My escape plan must stop
The rules are always applied
Biology can not be denied
